Community Improvement Services

Urban Corps' Community Improvement Services (CIS) Department is contracted by various Business Improvement District's (BID's), Maintenance Assessment Districts (MADs), and Price Charities Urban Village to conduct improvement services throughout the County in urban areas such as City Heights, North Park, Pacific Beach, La Jolla, and Carlsbad. The CIS program works to keep these communities clean and safe, while making shopping districts attractive by responding directly to local needs.

  • Litter Abatement
  • Power Washing
  • Tree Trimming
  • Graffiti Abatement
  • Bulky Item Removal
  • Blighted Lot Clearing/Foreclosed Properties
  • Street Sweeping
  • Landscaping/ Weed Abatement
  • Bus Stop Cleaning
  • Report & Barricade Safety Hazards
  • Removal of stickers, and bubble gum from buildings, signage, and telephone poles
  • Irrigation repair and troubleshooting
  • Banner hanging
  • Removal of illegal dump sites.
