The Urban Corps of San Diego County is a certified local conservation corps and charter school whose mission is to provide young adults with a high school education combined with job training and community service in the fields of conservation and recycling, which will assist youth in becoming more employable while protecting San Diego’s natural resources and instilling the importance of community service.
Urban Corps is a conservation corps and charter school designed to teach vocational job skills while providing youth ages 18-25 with a second chance to earn a high school diploma. Corpsmembers earn a paycheck working in the community while attending our urban Corps Charter School every other week.
We are accepting applications in person at our offices located at 3127 Jefferson Street, San Diego, CA 92110. If you are interested in applying, please come in as soon as you can as we do have a waiting list.
